Matthew Griffin's Drum Throne & Geodesic Caveman Clubs is the most recent acquisition to the Art Gallery collection. Griffin's conceptual and sculptural practice explores an aesthetic bound to the absurd and the readymade. Drum Throne & Geodesic Caveman Clubs is a home-made drum kit complete with drumsticks and baseball bat covered with an organic crystalline matchstick structure. [Gallery publicity].
