Abstract
This collection of Alpine photographs was taken on large format cameras in wild adventure situations by Edwin G. Adamson (1895 –1974) in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
The exhibition depicts history: the experience of getting to the snow, of skiing and fishing and gold gleaning, as well as his awe of wilderness, some of it blackened and ruined by bushfires. [NETS media]
