Abstract

A Million Suns is a collaborative installation by London-based Australian artist Nike Savvas, and Stephen Little. This multi-screen installation references contemporary discourses on several playful levels. It melds fluid ink-like shapes and shifting areas of cognition within a hybrid sensibility, engaging painting within an expanded field. Morphing colour and shapes, at times similar to ink blot tests, are projected on to the walls. An accompanying narrative formatted in an accessible children’s story, relates directly to the concerns of the visuals. [RMIT media].
