Abstract

From the early 1990s to today, Fiona MacDonald's major creative focus has been the archives from her hometown of Rockhampton. In this exhibition, Fiona transforms archival material by recomposing and integrating it with her own invented imagery and techniques - often drawing on diverse print media traditions such as street art and folk traditions such as weaving and collage.
