Abstract

The World in Painting presents recent work by eight established Australian artists who believe in the strength of their medium as a visual language.  This exhibition presents a shared journey of cultural and environmental exploration through introspection, questioning, preservation of imaginings - all through the medium of paint.

Artists include John Citizen (Gordon Bennett), Amanda Davies, Diena Georgetti, Raafat Ishak, Boxer Milner Tjampitjin, James Morrison, nancy Naninurra Napanangka and Elizabeth Newman. [Gallery media, 2009].
