Abstract

Head of Print making at the Canberra School of Art (now ANU) for 20 years until 1999, Jorg Schmeisser has also taught and worked in Germany and, particularly, in Japan, as well as taking many journeys ranging from the Himalayas to Antarctica. He has exhibited extensively in Australia and overseas; while his prints are held in all major public collections in Australia, as well as such institutions as the British Museum & the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
