Abstract

On show for the first time in Australia, the collection of more than 200 objects from the Musée du Louvre reveals the mysteries of Egyptian art and culture in all its beauty.

This new exhibition is the first the Louvre has sent to Australia in over two decades and features works drawn from the permanent display of Egyptian antiquities at the Musée du Louvre, and others that have never before been on public display. [Gallery media, 2006].
