Abstract
An exhibition of works by Australian printmakers whose treatments of landscapes, cityscapes and industrial subjects have been strongly influenced by European precedents. Includes key works by European printmakers such as Thomas Bewick, Charles Meryon, Giovanni Piranesi and Rembrandt van Rijn whose images and techniques have inspired Australian printmakers from Lionel Lindsay, John Shirlow and Jessie Traill to Ros Atkins and Marco Luccio.
