Abstract
Painter, printmaker, photographer, author and gallery director, Hal Missingham began his career as an artist in the late 1920s. His first experience in art was in printmaking, as a process engraver's apprentice at Gibbneys in Perth (from 1920 to 1926). This exhibition of his work was drawn from the Gallery's holdings and from the artist's collection. It focused on works that relate to his European and Australian travels between 1926 and 1988.
