Abstract

Works by John Coburn, Elisabeth Cummings, Ben Quilty, David Fairbairn, Susanne Archer, Adam Cullen, Nicholas Harding, Cherry Hood, Euan Macleod, Guy Warren, Reg Mombassa, Michael Johnson, John Peart, Suzanne Archer and James Gleeson will be shown.

All works in this exhibition have been sourced from Cicada Press, a custom printmaking program based at the College of Fine Arts (COFA), the University of New South Wales (UNSW). The Director of Cicada Press is Michael Kempson.

Cicada Press encourages practising artists in a variety of conceptual approaches to the medium of printmaking. It provides expertise and a supportive environment to some of Australia's finest contemporary artists as well as giving artists the opportunity to collaboratively explore the medium of printmaking and create quality artists' prints.

The artists featured in this exhibition are amongst Australia's most important contemporary practitioners. Their works have been exhibited widely in solo and group shows and are held in private and public collections within Australia and overseas. [Gallery PR]
