Abstract
After four years, the NGV’s magnificent collection of prints and drawings returns to showcase its breadth and strength. The earliest work in the exhibition is the NGV’s 12th century Byzantine illuminated manuscript, and the most recent is a major etching by Lucian Freud. Through this exhibition, some of the key developments in the history of international art can be explored. [NGV media]
