Abstract

This exhibition focused on a portfolio of prints that follows the visit Maddock made to Antarctica between January and February 1987 at the invitation of the Artists in Antarctica Programme. The suite of forty-four images, in which Maddock questions human actions, responsibility and purpose, was completed in the Burns Street Studio, Launceston, Tasmania, in 1988. (blurb).
