Organised by the Department of Fine Arts, University of Western Australia, in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Transcendental in mood and sensuously textured, the work of prominent Western Australian artist Brian Blanchflower was charted in this major retrospective survey, which presented over seventy works from 1962 to 1989. This exhibition was one of a series surveying the works of mid-career Western Australian artists and was a feature of the Festival of Perth 1990. (blurb).
