Abstract

This major exhibition of Australian prints, posters and illustrated books, is one of a series of exhibitions to celebrate the bicentennial of European settlement in Australia. A mammoth exhibition of over 1200 works it traces the history of the printed image in Australia from pre-settlement to the present. The exhibition occupies the whole of the Australian galleries and is supported by the exhibitions Printmakers at work and Australian Prints Now.
