Abstract
An exhibition of 100 lithographs produced at Tamarind Workshop in Los Angeles, California. The prints were selected by Virginia Allen. The exhibition was originaly shown at MoMA in 1969 before an extensive tour of South America, New Zealand and Australia,
"The Tamarind workshop in Los Angeles was responsible for renewing interest in lithography at a time when the skills required for the various processes were in danger of disappearing from America. One hundred and sixty-seven lithographs by artists of several nationalities but all produced in the Tamarind workshops made up the exhibition which was circulated under the auspices of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Visual Arts Board of the Australia Council".
