Abstract
The two suites of prints, Hogarth's from 1735 and Hockney's from 1963 were displayed together, providing an opportunity to engage the timeless themes of wasted inheritance and the promising youth led astray, in both an historical and contemporary context through the vision of two outstanding artists. This exhibition was prepared in co-operation with the CITY OF HAMILTON GALLERY. (blurb).
