Abstract

'Above, Beyond' is an exhibition of print-based and painting works that explore celestial space (above), and panoramic terrestrial landscapes (beyond) from around Australia. The exhibition brings together the works of two artists, father and daughter, who have spent many years drawing, painting and printing alongside one another, including time spent together in rural and remote regions of the continent. Each artists’ practice explores the experience of being within place, particularly where wide and unobstructed views offer sensations of wonderment and connectedness to land and sky.
