Abstract

Cities, Stories and Landscapes features many of Luccio’s highly recognisable work inspired by the international cities of New York, Paris and Florence as well as Maitland, Sydney and Melbourne. In addition to these well known cityscapes, the exhibition includes Luccio’s mixed media on postcards, ink drawings from rediscovered photographs, reused notebooks and assemblages made from found objects and recycled materials. Also featured will be film footage by filmmaker Scott Lewis of Luccio working in situ in Maitland as part of the upcoming documentary on Luccio’s work.
