Abstract
'Platinum' celebrates two decades of APW Collie Print Trust Scholarships for Emerging Victorian Printmakers. By providing rent-free access to printmaking facilities and equipment at Australian Print Workshop, this Scholarship has supported and encouraged some of Victoria's most promising early-career printmakers.
In partnership with RMIT University, APW invited six past Scholarship recipients to exhibit new work alongside work created during their Scholarship year. The exhibition is curated by Dr Richard Harding, Studio Coordinator, Print Imaging Practice (Photography and Printmaking), RMIT University and Anne Virgo OAM, Director, Australian Print Workshop with a catalogue essay by Dr Ruth Johnstone, Senior Lecturer, Print Imaging Practice (Printmaking) RMIT University.
The participating artists are:
Jazmina Cininas, Andrew Gunnell, Carolyn Hawkins, Clare Humphries, Deb Taylor and Jessica Wong.
