Abstract

Photography and printmaking by local artist Riste Andrievski which reflects the Illawarra as a culturally diverse area. Through his work the artist explores how a sense of place is integral in the development of personal and cultural identity. Drawing on memories of growing up among the fibro houses and pervasive industry of Cringila and Port Kembla the exhibition is a personal testament to the migrant experience and how that has informed his sense of self.
