Liz Williamson

 

Elizabeth Blanche Williamson was born on 9 June 1949 at Maryborough, Victoria. In 1970 she graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce. From 1978 to 1980 she studied a handloom weaving course at the Melbourne College of Textiles. From 1981 to 1983 she studied for and gained a Bachelor of Arts - Textile Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Liz Williamson has lectured in woven textile design at several Australian institutions and been the recipient of several textile awards.
