Biography

Donna Burak

Donna Burak was born in Milikapiti on Melville Island in 1972. As a Tiwi woman she uses her skills to pass on the traditions and language of her people. She produces paintings, etchings and linocut prints. Burak won the Australian Heritage Commission National Youth Art Award in 1996.
