Biography

The balanced aesthetic melding of culturally diverse symbolisms in the work of local artist Lance Atkinson entices the viewer to reflect on how an enduring cultural harmony might be achieved in our society. Concurrent to this thought is the plea for harmonious existence between humanity and nature.

In this, Lance’s second solo exhibition at Mildura Arts Centre Regional Gallery, his paintings unite from private, corporate and public collections, stretching from Kangaroo Island to Canberra and Parramatta.
