Biography
Michael West was an artist, architect and landscape designer. Studied graphic art St. Martin’s School of Art, London 1955 -1960 ; Willoughby Art Centre, Willoughby 1961-65; Chelsea College of Art, London 1965-66. Taught lithography at Willoughby Art Centre N.S.W. Participated International Biennial Cracow 1968, 1970; Biella, Turin 1971; Florence 1972. Exhibited Four Printmakers (Arts Council Gallery, Sydney, 1972). Held one-man exhibition Melbourne,1973. Exhibited annually with Sydney Printmakers. Included Arts Council Exhibitions 1972,1974. Participated Print Council Exhibitions 1972, 1974. Exhibited regularly from 1967 in Australia, Poland and New York. Represented in Twelve Australian Lithographers, 1975.
