Biography
Nelson Paget Whitelocke was born in London and educated in Sydney. He worked for many years for Gibbs, Shallard & Co, drawing lithographic plans. He was both writer and illustrator to the press and was associated with the 'Sydney Mail', Echo', 'Illustrated Sydney News', 'Australian Journal', and the Tribune'. His 'Pen Notes and Pencillings' were published in the 'Newcastle Morning Herald' over a three decade period. Whitelocke died at his home in Sydney in 1927.
