Biography

Ethel Warburton
Ethel Warburton was born in Sydney in 1894. From around 1915 she studied painting, china painting and pottery at the Sydney Technical College and from around 1924 china painting and pottery at the East Sydney Technical College. In 1922 she joined the Arts and Crafts Society of New South Wales, selling work through its exhibitions and shop.
 
Ethel Warburton is grandmother of the potter Toni Warburton.
