Biography

Peter Dickie son of Allison Neilson and Alfred (Alf) Dickie Presbyterian minister, peace advocate and nuclear disarmament campaigner. Peter was a participant in the folk song revival of the 1960s, singing and writing reviews (some with Mick Counihan). He was a skilled visual artist with links to trade unions. In the early 1980s was a co-ordinator of the 'Art and Working Life' project for the Australian Trade Unions. Also known as a painter exhibiting as Peter Dickie-Neilson.
