Biography

The firm of M & N. Hanhart was established by Michael Hanhart (21 May 1788 – 16 December 1865) and Nicholas Hanhart (1815–1902). Hanhart specalised in the printing of lithographs for natural history books. They had a range of connections with Australian artists. They printed works for the Scott sisters as well as some privately published topographical prints by H.Grant Loyd, Frederick Garling and Elizabeth Hudspeth.
