Biography

Mitzi Shearer was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in 1909. She studied painting at private art schools in Johannesburg and Capetown (South Africa) 1965-75. In Australia she studied printmaking at Perth Technical College 1977-81. Her first single-artist exhibition was in South Africa in 1975.
