Biography
Hermia Boyd
Born in Sydney 1931, Hermia Sappo Lloyd-Jones studied sculpture under Lyndon Dadswell at East Sydney Technical School 1945-1947. Married to David Boyd, she is well known for her ceramics, glass and drawings which she has exhibited in London and Australia. In 1952, whilst in France, she studied wood-engraving with Edward Gordon Craig. Early in 1970 she settled with her husband in the south of France where she studied etching with Sathish Sharma. She died in 2000.
