Biography

John Wade trained in archaeology at the University of Sydney, and taught there before joining the Museum of Applied Arts and sciences in Sydney as curator of decorative arts in 1975. He was a foundation member of the Australiana Society in 1978, edited its publications off and on, and served as president 1999–2006. [Australiana Society]
