Biography

The Gordon Darling Intern for 2019-2020 is Johanna McMahon. Johanna received a first-class Honours degree from the Australian National University in 2018, where she was awarded the Janet Wilkie Memorial Prize for Art History and Theory Honours. Whilst studying, Johanna interned at the National Portrait Gallery before joining the team as a casual Learning Facilitator. Prior to this Johanna worked and volunteered at in London for two years at art institutions including the Barbican Centre, British Museum, Borough Road Gallery and London Transport Museum.
