Biography

Alison Inglis is an Associate Professor in Art History at The University of Melbourne. She has a long-standing research interest in the art of nineteenth-century Britain and Australia, and also studies the history of collections and exhibitions in Australia. Her most recent major publication, written in collaboration with Joanna Mendelssohn, Catherine De Lorenzo, and Catherine Speck, is Australian Art Exhibitions: Opening Our Eyes (Thames & Hudson 2018).
