NICKY CAREY born Dublin,? Relocated to Brisbane in 2007, first exhibited 1982. Nicky Carey’s work delves into the realms of the real and imaginary, forcing an interaction of the two, there is a confrontation within each drawing, painting, print or poem. His imagery explores the underworld of the night and unconscious dreams bringing them forth in the consciousness of the day.
