Biography

Jarmila Hava:  printmaker, painter and art educator (TAFE and Adult Education). Artist living in Melbourne. Qualifications: Master of Arts in Fine Arts (1986); BAFA Hons (1980), University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Jarmila lived, travelled and worked in many parts of the world and exhibited in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, USA and Australia. In later life she focused on printmaking (particularly lithography and etching), and drawing. She participated in the Australian Print Workshop Impressions exhibitions and various group shows around Melbourne. Her work is held by the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Ministry of Education, Zimbabwe, the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Darebin Art Collection, and City of Moreland and works been acquired for private collections in Australia, U.K., U.S.A, Czech Republic, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
