Biography

Petra Kayser is Curator of Prints and Drawings at the National Gallery of Victoria. She has curated exhibitions on subjects as diverse as Renaissance images of Apocalypse and war, satirical prints, and German avant-garde art of the 1920s–1930s.

Her PhD examined the relationship between art and science in sixteenth-century cabinets of curiosities, and her research interests include print culture, science and devotional art in early modern Europe. [Prints, Printmaking and Philanthropy, 2019].
