Biography
The Beagle Press was established in 1980 by art historian Lou Klepac who had previously been Deputy Director and Senior Curator at the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
The Beagle Press (the name comes from the ship on which Charles Darwin sailed to Australia) produces books on Australian art and museum catalogues. It has also published original prints by Russell Drysdale, Donald Friend, Elaine Haxton, Lloyd Rees, Judy Cassab and Kenneth Jack. [Publishers media]
