Biography

Born 20 September 1908 (England), B.Arch. (University of Liverpool), married Brian Bannatyne Lewis (foundation chair of Architecture, University of Melbourne 1946/47). One of the architects engaged on the Greater London Plan-the redesigning of London after the devastation of the blitz and V bombing. Before leaving England Mrs Lewis was in private practice with her husband in London. Arrived in Melbourne on the Empire Star 14 March 1947. Four sons, 1 daughter.
