Biography

The short-lived South Yarra Workshop was established by Violet Dulieu, Director of the South Yarra Gallery. It was managed by Udo Sellbach and Alun Leach-Jones, and editions were pulled by trade printers. The gallery had an agreement with the World Record Club whereby prints were commissioned for reproduction on record covers, with the original limited edition works offered exclusively to the Club’s members. Jack Courier and Noel Counihan were two of the artists who produced work for the project in 1968.

Udo Sellbach referred to it as the Pacific Prints Workshop.
