Biography
ANGELA GARDNER, born first exhibited 2002 in printmaking and collage. Gardner migrated to Australia in her late twenties and graduated from Queensland College of Art with MAVA. She has received a Churchill Fellowship, an Australia Council Project Grant (Literature) and an Arts Queensland Visual Arts and Crafts Strategy Grant as well as residencies and prizes. She exhibits regularly with the NightLadder Collective. Her visual art has entered national and international public collections on 3 continents including National Gallery of Australia, National Museum & Gallery of Wales; National Art Library, Victoria & Albert Museum; Queensland State Library, National Art Library Collection; State Library of Victoria, Resim ve Heykel Müzesi, Istanbul, Turkey and University of Hawai'i at Manoa USA.
