Biography

Partnership of Francis Stringer (1816 - 1876) and Cyrus Mason (1829 - 1915). Mason had worked with Thomas Hamm, and with Stringer took over the business. The partnership was dissolved by mutual consent on 12 May 1854, Mason continuing trading under his own name.[The Argus (Melbourne), 12 May 1854, page 8].
