Biography
Bruce Davidson
Bruce Davidson was born on 25 April 1931. He is self-taught as a potter, establishing a pottery at Dunmoochin, Cottlesbridge, Victoria, in 1960. Skilled at throwing large pieces of clay, he was approached by Tom Sanders to throw this large plate for subsequent decoration by Fred Williams. In 1972 he left Dunmoochin, settling in Castlemaine, Victoria, where he intended to continue working as a potter. However, he gave up making pots after leaving Dunmoochin and has become involved with house restoration in Castlemaine.
