Biography
From 1971 to 1975 Trevor Abraham undertook the diploma course in fine arts at Warnambool Institute of Advanced Education, the course covering painting, sculpture, graphics and printmaking, his print teacher being Ron Quick. It was there in 1971 that he produced his first prints; etchings, relief and screenprints. Later in the 1970s he completed a Diploma of Education at Hawthorne Institute of Technology, then the 1980s he taught sculpture and ceramics at Keysborough Technical College. In the late 1970s he built his own etching press and has continued to produce etchings in small editions sporadically throughout the 1980s. He is better known as a maker of guitars.
