Valerie Aked
born 1936

Valerie Jean Aked, née Lenehan, was born on 26 September 1936 in Sydney.  She first studied silversmithing from 1969 to 1976 at Walraven Van Heeckeren's School for Silversmiths, Sydney.  Subsequently she has completed a number of specialist courses in various aspects of metalwork and jewellery.  She works at French's Forest, Sydney.
