Biography

Bob Dorrizzi studied commercial art and printmaking at Perth Technical College from 1965 to 1967. Many of his prints from the 1960s are line etchings printed as artists proofs or in very small editions. After his service in the Vietnam war from 1968 and’70, he studied Fine Arts at the Western Australian Institute of Technology in 1971 while sharing a studio with artist Giles Hohnen. At this time he also commenced screenprinting (including Tee shirts). From 1972 he taught printmaking at Perth Technical College and at Graylands Teachers College.
