Mab Vandeth
 
Mab van Blaaderen was born on 16 March 1921 at Fontainbleau, France. She studied ceramics from 1939 at the Kunst Nyverheid School, Amsterdam, married in 1940 and arrived in Australia in 1950. Using her married name Vandeth (originally van Deth) she began potting in Australia in 1967.
