RedShed Arts Workshop.

(2014–) Australian | Organisation

RedShed Art Workshop Inc. is a not for profit incorporated association. Broadly our aims are to encourage artists and interested community members to engage in a range of activities focussed on the making of art, to promote the arts, and create opportunities for employment and the development of an arts industry.
Nine years ago, the Newstead Art Salon (now RedShed Arts Workshop) started work towards leasing the railway goods shed from VicTrack under their Vacant Rail Buildings for Community Use Program. After finally obtaining the lease, we worked with the architects for the restoration of the goods shed and its conversion to what is now the [RedShed.
