ART DIPLOMAS.
East Sydney Technical College.
Recommendations for the award of two diplomas in art were made yesterday afternoon by the examining committee comprising Messrs. Norman Carter, Albert J. Collins, D. H. Souter, and J. S. McDonald (director of the National Art Gallery).

Miss Una Foster, who had completed the art department course in commercial illustration, was awarded a credit diploma. Miss Sheila Farquharson, having completed the painting course, was awarded a credit diploma.
Earlier in the year Miss Jean Broome was awarded a diploma in the honours grade for sculpture, and Miss Delphine Stephens a credit diploma for painting.

An exhibition of work, by students of the art department will be held in the Blaxland Galleries next February.
