Hills near Lysterfield.

An area at the back of Upwey (where we had a weekend retreat). The landscape was ever varied and just asked to be painted. It was a challenge to do it within a silken screen. This was the first of two designs of approximately the same subject. I simply moved slightly away for the second work. It was now winter.
