The family of Mathias Kawage, who died on 20 May 2003, are establishing a small Art Gallery in Port Moresby. “The Sir Kawage Mathias  Arts and Crafts Centre will continue to revive his former business contacts and furthermore to project his name ‘Sir Mathias Kawage’ and his style of painting in PNG”.
